Recycled wood pallets, Grade A and Grade B.
Many recycled pallets are hardwood, and years of service have usually dried them out, so they are less prone to warp than green lumber. The grade tells you how much they have been repaired.

When recycled is right
Most loads do not need a new pallet
If the pallet ships one way, sits on the floor, or carries an evenly spread load, a recycled pallet usually does the job for less than new. Racking, automated handling and food areas are where the grade starts to matter.
