Give us the quantity, the footprint and the ZIP. We will quote the pallets and the freight together — or tell you plainly that somebody closer should do it.

- Loads from 100 pallets to full 53' trailers
- We buy as readily as we sell — tell us which way it flows

About 330 units, two high, roughly 15,000 lb in a trailer rated for three times that. Pallet loads cube out long before they gross out.

What ships here
Illinois, in freight terms.
Chicago is the single most important freight node in North America. Every Class I railroad meets there, the intermodal complex at Joliet and Elwood handles container volumes that dwarf most seaports, and the warehouse belt along I-80 runs almost continuously from Joliet to the Indiana line.
For pallets that means enormous supply and fierce competition. There are excellent recyclers in the Chicago market and we will say plainly that for routine weekly supply inside Cook and Will counties, one of them will usually beat our delivered price. Freight from Columbus is a real number and we do not pretend otherwise.
Where we do compete is program volume, specialty footprints that Chicago yards do not hold in depth, and the downstate corridor along I-70 and I-55 — Effingham, Decatur and the agricultural processing belt — where we are frequently closer than a Chicago supplier is.

Questions
Buying pallets in Illinois.
Do you deliver to Illinois?
Served on scheduled contract carriers rather than our own trailers. Economic for full trailer loads and program volume; less so for small orders.
What is the minimum order into Illinois?
A full trailer, roughly 330 units, for the freight to make sense. Below that, buy locally — you will be better off.
What footprints move most in Illinois?
48×40 GMA for program volume, specialty and custom footprints, heavy-deck stock for the downstate agricultural processing belt.
Can you quote a custom build here?
Yes, anywhere. Custom and engineered work is quoted from a drawing and shipped as project freight, and the distance economics are completely different from routine stock. See custom builds.
