Missouri is a straight run west on I-70 and the state is, in freight terms, two separate markets connected by that highway. St. Louis at the eastern end is a river, rail and chemical town. Kansas City at the western end is one of the largest rail hubs in the country and a major food and agricultural distribution centre.

We reach St. Louis economically on scheduled contract freight for full loads. Kansas City is at the edge of what makes sense, and for routine supply there we will generally point you west rather than quote a number that only works on paper.

Chemical and agricultural processing along the river corridor drives demand for heavier deck construction and square drum footprints, which is stock we hold and many general recyclers do not.
