Pallets in Delaware, 480 miles from our gate.

Served on scheduled contract carriers rather than our own trailers. Economic for full trailer loads and program volume; less so for small orders.
Warehouse interior with pallets sorted by type — natural wood, blue pooled units, black plastic and EPAL stamped stacks
SegregationSorted by type, not by convenience. Pooled units go back to the pool; plastic runs a separate stream entirely.

What ships here

Delaware, in freight terms.

Delaware is small but freight-dense. The Port of Wilmington is one of the largest fruit import gateways in North America and the largest banana port in the country, which produces a very specific pallet flow: enormous inbound volume on foreign footprints, arriving refrigerated, all at once.

That import mix is the interesting part for a recycler. Fruit importers accumulate odd-size and single-use platforms in quantities local demand cannot absorb, and remanufacturing them into standard footprints is exactly the sort of work our dismantling line exists for.

Downstate, poultry processing dominates and brings the usual hygiene split: plastic in wash-down zones, tightly sorted dry wood everywhere else.

Local economy

Chemicals and pharmaceuticals, a working port at Wilmington handling fruit and vehicles, poultry processing downstate.

What we send there
