Used pallets in Detroit, MI 205 miles down US-23 north to I-75.

We run every other week, thursday into Detroit from our Columbus yard. That fixed pattern is what keeps the delivered price competitive — the truck is already going.
Warehouse interior with pallets sorted by type — natural wood, blue pooled units, black plastic and EPAL stamped stacks
SegregationSorted by type, not by convenience. Pooled units go back to the pool; plastic runs a separate stream entirely.

Give us the quantity, the footprint and the ZIP. We will quote the pallets and the freight together, because that is the only number that means anything.

The lane

What we know about Detroit.

Detroit runs biweekly. It is our longest regular lane and the freight component is real — for smaller orders we will often tell you a Michigan yard is the better buy, and mean it.

Where we do compete well is the automotive footprints. 48×45 stock, returnable-fleet management and repair loops are what we do, and the tier-supplier network here runs exactly that pattern.

Cross-border shipping into Ontario adds an ISPM-15 consideration that catches people out. Wood packaging between the US and Canada has historically had an exemption, but the rules around commodity and treatment vary — check with your broker per lane rather than relying on what was true last year.

Local economy

Automotive assembly and the deepest tier-supplier network in North America, plus cross-border freight into Ontario.

What we send there

48×45 automotive, returnable fleet management, heat-treated for cross-border.
